Welcome to the Mt. Vernon Steelers. We offer the finest in minor league football in the New York area. We play a ten game season beginning August 29. Our home field is Mt. Vernon Memorial Stadium. The Steelers are proud members of the United Football League. Last year, we completed an 8-2 regular season and lost a playogg game in the last six seconds. July 18. First pre-season game vs. Ct. Giants. August 7, intersectional game against Virginia Monarchs, Memorial Field, 6:00 P.M. August 29, opening day vs. Harlem Hurricanes, 1:00 P.M. Memorial Field Practice currently underway every Wed. & Thu @ 6:00 and Sun, @ 4:00 P.M. Call to confirm location of practice. Steelers also seeking individual game sponsors and advertisers for home games. Your banner or sign will be displayed and P.A. announcements will be read at all home games.
